Vest Keramiek Gouda 13 April 2017 - Chimney vases, jug and coffee pot, probably not made by Vest

question
I have doubts about a number of vases made by Vest according to the sellers. I am almost certain that they were not made by you.
Just to be sure, I just ask it. For comparison purposes, I have placed them next to a well-known Vest vase.

answer Hugo and Marius
The glaze looks like our glaze. If the vase is hand-formed, the corners should be sharper and not around. The vase must be very heavy. If it is much lighter you can be sure that we haven't made.

note
The vase is not heavy. It is made by Jopeko (model 210/6). The glaze is widely used and is called Paris.

Vest Keramiek Gouda

answer Hugo and Marius
There are almost no differences. The bottom is much smoother than other Vest vases.

note
The vase is made by Jopeko (model 210/10) and the glaze is called Alaska. Often this glaze was combined with shining red or green glaze.

Vest Keramiek Gouda

answer Hugo and Marius
The left vase is not from us. It is a clever imitation made by Jopeko in Germany. They copying very much.
The hole of the Jopeko vase is smaller than the hole of the Vest vase.

. note
The vase is indeed made by Jopeko (model 211). The name of the glaze is not known.

answer Hugo and Marius
The size difference can be explained by the shrinking of the clay. We are going to bake at a higher temperature and thats why the clay shrank more.
The vase is not made by us. That can be seen at the foot.

note
The foot is called a Jacoba foot. It is recognizable by the impressions of a finger or thumb.
The vase is made by Prosman. Prosman used a shiny, very smooth glaze. The ridges are also much smoother.

Vest Keramiek Gouda

answer Hugo and Marius
Certainly not made by us. Maybe Prosman.

note
Prosman is very unlikely. He used no red clay.
Vest has never had a bottom of red clay with a standring (raised edge of the bottom).
