Many Vest vases are not marked with a number but do have a sticker with "Vest keramiek" or "van Woerden" on it. These vases are easy to recognize. However, stickers can be stuck on the wrong vase. Check if there are glue residues along the edge of the sticker. If this is the case, then there is a good chance that the vase is from another factory.

On the first stickers that were used, only VAN WOERDEN or MADE IN HOLLAND was written. These vases are made from black and red clay.

I do not have the sticker on the right in my collection. It is the oldest.

The vase is owned by Guido Van de Heule.

On the stickers on the right it was first written "van Woerden" and later "van Woerden GOUDA POTTERY".

These stickers were used until 1973.

A hang tag was used for a short time. This hang tag is not in my possession.

From 1976 onwards, stickers from Vest Keramiek were introduced, with an image of a castle with two towers.

At first it also said "v. WOERDEN - AARDEWERK", but later it has disappeared.

In the 1980s a white sticker was also used on white pottery.

vaasje Van Woerden - bodem Van Woerden Holland rode klei In the early period (1963 - 1964) Marius and Hugo van Woerden worked in a shed in Monster. The vases were turned by hand, not cast. Red baking clay was used. During this period, vases sometimes received a stamp that was pressed into the bottom.
First a small stamp with the letters MvW was used.

Later, a larger stamp with the name "MARIUS VAN WOERDEN" was sometimes used.

The cast vase on the right was signed by Marius on July 15, 1966. Probably made during a demonstration.

An ink stamp was required to export the vases to the US. On the bottom it said "VAN WOERDEN HOLLAND".

For a short period, numbers were casted into the bottom. For export, "MADE IN HOLLAND" was sometimes added.
